ochazuke (oh-cha-zoo-keh)

rice marinated in tea (green or brown rice teas usually work best), and can be topped with furikake (rice seasoning) or other types of "toppings".

Tools & Ingredients:

  • rice
  • tea (green or brown rice)
  • furikake or another type of topping

Directions

  1. Cook rice
  2. Prepare hot tea
  3. Put rice into a rice bowl or other small bown
  4. Add toppings to the rice
  5. Pour tea over the rice and toppings
